Peacemaker

    We watch Jeopardy every night.  If you've been watching Jeopardy lately, you've seen the 11-day champion, Arthur, jump back and forth across the board while looking for daily doubles.  We think he's more than a little arrogant and have been ready for a new champion.  I mean, who argues with Alex Trebek over pronunciation?

     On Tuesday night when it looked like he was going to win AGAIN, Jeremy turned off the TV because he didn't want to see him win.  I was still hopeful that someone else might beat him and wanted it to stay on.  We started fussing at each other, arguing over whether or not we were going to finish watching, when Jackson (who was sitting between us) put his hands on each of us and said "OKAY GUYS---Watching Jeopardy is a GOOD THING.  We ALWAYS watch Jeopardy together."  He had such a serious look on his face.  I must admit, it was difficult to suppress our laughter.  Jeremy promptly turned the TV back on, just in time to see Arthur when yet again.  *sigh*

     There was lots of cheering and applause in our living room last night, though!  There is now a new Jeopardy champion!  FINALLY!
